Jörg Rüpke (PhD in Classics 1989, Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen) was a POLY Short-Term Fellow in the Winter Term 2024/25. In January 2025, he and Michael Borgolte took part in a panel discussion on “What Difference Did Christianity Make?,” exploring Christianity’s historical impact on societies and cultures. The discussion was part of POLY's “Frankfurter Religionsgespräche,” a series of interdisciplinary discussions devoted to fundamental questions and current topics in the study of religion.
