Monique Scheer (PhD in Empirical Cultural Studies 2006, Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen) was a POLY Short-Term Fellow in the Winter Term 2024/25. In January 2025, she and Volkhard Krech took part in a panel discussion on “Sociology of Religion and Emotion,” exploring the complex relationship between religion and emotion. The discussion was part of POLY's “Frankfurter Religionsgespräche,” a series of interdisciplinary discussions devoted to fundamental questions and current topics in the study of religion.
